DESCRIPTION
Todd Rundgren Runt LP!  Original LP, copyright 1970 Ampex Records.  This is the absolute rarest version of the LP, as it is a mispress and the actual tracks on the vinyl do not match the tracks that are listed on the labels/sleeve.  This version has 2 completely different tracks and, not only that, but many of the tracks are alternate mixes with slight differences from the standard version.  Upon its initial release, the album was issued with 10 tracks.  After the success of We Got To Get You A Woman, Ampex decided to press more LPs to keep up with demand.  A rejected 12 track master was accidentally sent to the pressing plant which resulted in around 5000 mis-pressed LPs being released to the public.  This is one of them.  The 12 tracks are listed below with details:
SIDE ONE: 1. BROKE DOWN AND BUSTED (same as standard version but with short intro from THERE ARE NO WORDS) 2. BELIEVE IN ME (alternate mix) 3. WE GOTTA GET YOU A WOMAN (alternate mix) 4. ONCE BURNED (same as standard version) 5. WHO'S THAT MAN (same as standard version) 6. HOPE I'M NOT AROUND (not on standard version, but was included on Rundgren's second solo LP) 7. DEVIL'S BITE (alternate mix with extended guitar solo)
SIDE TWO: 1. I'M IN THE CLIQUE (same as standard version) 2. THERE ARE NO WORDS (same as standard version) 3. BABY LET'S SWING (full length song, not part of a medley) 4. SAY NO MORE (not on standard version) 5. BIRTHDAY CAROL (partially the same as standard, but with some slight alterations)
  I have owned this for many years and, since I purchase records to actually listen to them, this one has been played but taken very good care of.  I am not an expert record grader and use the Goldmine grading system to rate everything: http://www.goldminemag.com/article/Collecting_101_Grading_Your_Records/.  I've sold lots of LPs on eBay and have never received a complaint.  Please contact me with any questions!  
The vinyl is VG+ (Very Good Plus) ; it's beautiful & glossy with a few minor surface scuffs/scratches & plays smoothly with minimal surface noise and no skips!  I have been digitally recording all of my vinyl LPs to my computer; I just recorded this one recently and it really does play almost flawlessly, but I'm hesitant to grade any vinyl that's been played as mint or near mint, so I have graded this one conservatively.  The jacket is NM (Near Mint) ; this is a seriously beautiful jacket with hardly ANY edge wear, no ring wear or splits and only slightly dinged corners.  Please see the photos for more details!   Includes the original paper inner sleeve with photos and lyrics, and I will also include a plastic cover to store the record in.  From a smoke-free home.
