Tom Pacheco debut record "Turn Away From The Storm" on Witchgren records from 1965 out of New Bedford, Massachusetts. At age 19, Tom Pacheco released this first solo album of all-original folk songs. After this record he went to NY and formed the Ragamuffins, who supported Jimi Hendrix on a number of occasions. This album rarely turns up in any condition and is a true classic of the Folk genre. The value of this record is primarily in the sleeve which under Goldmine I would grade VG+ (although I would give it an extra + based on some of their criteria), if you are looking for a nice sleeve upgrade this is it. The record did play on MY turntable with no skips but each song has some noise, crackles or clicks. If you look at the record it does have a high number of marks. If you are primarily bidding on the sleeve and secondary a record that plays with the negatives listed you should come away satisfied.

Grading Per Goldmine Standards:
Sleeve- VG+... Some wear to cover, slight bowing, corners showing some white, no splits, no writing, overall looks nice.
Record- Good... Well played, has some distracting surface noise, crackle and clicks, I listened to the entire record and it did not skip for me on my turntable, looks like mostly glossy with a couple dull areas, has large number of marks and scratches some deeper to cause repeated clicks, did not hear many loud pops. Good means that it will play with some form of decency, so one can still listen to the music, even though you can still hear noise from the above mentioned wear.
