Description

Another of my own records, this is Tom Waits Swordfishtrombones, on Island Records ILPM 9762, making it a UK first pressing.
Deadwax runout grooves read as follows. Side 1. ILPM 9762 A-5U-1-- Side 2. ILPM 9762 B //2 420 EX There is another etched word but I can't make it out.
Same old story with the vinyl, nice & glossy black as it should be, just a couple of spindle marks on side 1 & non on side 2. Absolutely no marks of any kind on the vinyl, no paper marks or needle scratches, looks mint & plays mint, almost zero background noise, easy to grade this as NM (near mint). The outer cover is laminated & does show some signs of wear. The spine is still intact & there are no stickers, writing or tears on either side. Just a little light creasing around the edges & a little ink loss too on the edges, but nothing unsightly. I rate the cover as VG+
I always play my records through so I can grade them properly.
I have always kept my records clean, but before I sell them I always clean them with my VPI RCM & put the record in a new anti-static inner sleeve, & the cover in a new cover also.
I always insure my items for their full value & do not make any money on postage.
Collection from BH22 near Bournemouth is also welcomed.
