Description
This vinyl record is a must-have for any jazz enthusiast. Featuring the legendary musicians Kenny Burrell, Tommy Flanagan, John Coltrane, and Idrees Sulieman, this LP has a unique blend of hard bop and jazz instrument styles that will transport you back to the 1950s. The record label is New Jazz and the release title is The Cats, with a catalog number of NJLP 8217.
This first edition, first pressing vinyl has a deep groove, original pressing, RVG stamp and recorded by van gelder, making it a unique addition to any collection. The record is 33 RPM and is a mono recording in high fidelity.
Record grading - VG+ (has been VPI VACUUM CLEANED)
Play tested and graded the whole album. Sounds great front and back. Has a few light surface scuffs/scratches. Nothing that interferes with the sound playback. Maybe a few faint background noises hear and there but nothing overpowering. Very enjoyable.
Sleeve Grading - VG
I am grading this VG because the the laminate cover is still in good condition and there is no split seams or ringwear. The slip has some jagged edges from what appears crate wear and storage over the years. Name written on the back cover with a phone number.
This comes from the famous blues artist and producer Cecil Shaw's personal collection.
