Description

Phenomenal recordings by the great Tommy McClennan, made in Chicago in 1941. According to an interview with musician (and Charlie Patton associate) Booker Miller, McClennan likely played at one point with the mysterious Willie Brown. “I’m A Guitar King” was included in an early collection from Folkways called The Country Blues.

This record has some scuffs and wear but sounds fantastic. Please refer to the photos and video (played using a 2.75TE stylus) and reach out if you have any questions. I will happily combine shipping for multiple items. Thank you for looking.
