Description :
Here is a near perfect pressing of this ultra-rare Psych-Folk album from singer/songwriter Tony Miles.
Very little information is available on this LP and artist but those in the know are aware of what a classic piece of work we have here … a Psych-Folk gem that will make an impressive addition to any collection.
As a rule these self-funded custom issues are pressed in a run of 500 or 1000 only so in that sense they are definitely a Limited Edition item. This particular album was recorded sometime in the mid-80's (?) at a Toowong studio in Brisbane and later mixed at the local Television studios of Channel Nine.
Mention must be made here of the accompanying book as it is the most stunning insert I've ever seen in over 30 years of collecting vinyl … in fact it is more a piece of art than a booklet. The 16 pages here are printed on high quality art paper and the song lyrics appear on individual pages adorned by glorious artwork ….as per the examples seen in the photos below.
The album sleeve in itself is a glorious presentation and hints at the musical content within via it's amazing array of pixies, fairies and butterflies inscrolled in the trippy / psychedelic drawing.
It is fair to say that this would be the best example of this most collectible and incredibly scarce album you are ever likely to come across … and an opportunity gone begging if you let it slip by.
