Description

Okay... you're here then you know what this is. These were pressed in very limited numbers in 1996 and not since. Unless the label decides to put another pressing out, these are and will continue to be hard to find. I am starting the bidding at $100.00 because the vinyl alone is worth far more than that. If it were the vinyl that was beat up with a nice sleeve on it, would you even bid?

THIS STUFF IS IMPORTANT. READ IT.

Here's the story on this copy. I'm selling this for a friend. After I told him the embarrassing and ridiculous price I paid for my own pristine copy, he asked me to sell his for him here on ebay.   He has never owned a turntable and bought this as a novelty item back in the day.. so these have never touched a platter other than mine, and that was merely to spin them, clean them, and ensure their flat condition. The vinyl is stunning, shiny and glossy. The sleeve is beat up like a UFC loser. Not knowing the future value of this record set, he hung it on his wall with that gummy tacky stuff. It fell off a few times and split the inner sleeves, dented the spine, and the tacky stuff left fugly white patches on the once glossy album art. This set would be IDEAL for someone who loves Tool's music, loves vinyl, wants a nice disc set and doesn't want to spend 300-400 dollars merely because the album art is shiny. I want to emphasize these vinyl discs are BEAUTIFUL and thankfully remain unscathed after falling off the wall... these are prime. They have the usual fine lines found on all records stored in paper sleeves, just like my own Mint set. If you don't care that the sleeve is beat up you have yourself a gorgeous listening experience ahead of you.

Conditions: Products are sold AS-IS. I accept PAYPAL ONLY. Payment within 5 business days or the item is re-listed and you are reported. No Refunds. Buyer assumes responsibility for all shipping costs and insurance if desired. If YOU choose no insurance, YOU are liable. I am not liable for damage incurred by postal carriers and sorters. My descriptions are as accurate as possible and if I make a glaring mistake let me know BEFORE leaving feedback and we'll negotiate until you are satisfied with the outcome. At this time I ship to the US and Canada. If you are in the UK and feel this is ridiculous, contact me and I'll get a quote after you win the auction. I've never shipped there before so I am not sure about potential cost.

Shipping:

IF YOU WIN MORE THAN ONE ITEM FROM ME HOLD OFF ON PAYMENT SO I CAN GET A COMBINED SHIPPING QUOTE FIRST :)

Rates are approximate.
To the US tracked and insured is about $15.00 I shipped a vinyl there once at this cost and it included insurance.

Canada – Should be less. Ignore the retarded shipping calculator. It seems to think I'm in the US and capable of using USPS. How intuitive for ebay.ca.

And lastly... thanks for looking, and hopefully buying. If a Chicken Nugget that looks like George Washington can get sold for $200+ I hope this has a chance.

AND – Check out my other auctions. Got some quality up in there.

I reciprocate all feedback. Please do the same.

I had a very valid question from a fellow member I'd like to share, and regret it's original deletion. I'm posting this because he has become exceptionally annoying over the last day. It is as follows:

Dear sean_othan,

"This" is spelled T,H,I,S, Not T,H,E,S,E. check your description of
this record, cause I can barley understand what your friend is saying.
Next, I would like to offer you $50 dollars for this album. Who cares
if the records are not damaged. The album cover is a very important
part of the album which makes it worth a lot. So $50 dollars is my
best offer. Let me know. $100 dollars is a lot for an album that is
damaged to the extent that this one is. Thanks. Dan"

If anyone else is having trouble deciphering the hieroglyphics in my description like my good friend Dan here, by all means let me know if you haven't already swallowed your own tongue. Also, no outside offers please. My one bidder and the many watchers may become disappointed.

 WOO HOO! ANOTHER REVISION! EXCITED???

This is a lot of work for a friend. Yeesh. I made a short video of the album sleeve with my super high-tech 4 mega pixel camera and posted it to YouTube.  I displayed it Vanna White style with my own copy of the album playing in the background.  Granted the video isn't the greatest, but it's better than paying 35 cents a pic on here...

The copy playing is my personal copy and IS NOT THE COPY FOR SALE. The records up for auction are in their inner sleeves as displayed on my keyboard. All in all I guess the sleeve isn't entirely that bad. Video doesn't lie. You be the judge.

Last one! Seriously! (Good news for American Bidders)

SHIPPING NOTE TO ALL BIDDERS:

To the US tracked and insured is about $15.00 CAD. Bear in mind CAD is @85c USD right now thanks to the market crash, and if you don't need/want insurance it will come out to be cheaper. Please be patient with me on these listings. I am new to selling, but can assure you there will not be grossly inflated shipping charges. That's something on ebay I've had done to me, and don't wish upon anyone else. Please don't pay immediately, I will send an invoice of the ACTUAL cost which sets my "5 business day" condition in motion. I'm not sure what it will say in the "View Details" section after you win, and I don't wish to complicate things. Thanks for your understanding :)
