Record Grading Scale:
Near Mint (NM): A nearly perfect record. The record has more than likely never been played, and the vinyl will play perfectly, with no imperfections during playback.
Excellent (EX): Very close to Near Mint. Record has few very minor imperfections that will not affect playback.
Very Good Plus (VG+): Record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Defects are more of a cosmetic nature, not affecting the actual playback as a whole. Record surfaces may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experiences.
Very Good (VG): Many of the defects found in a VG+ record will be more pronounced in a VG disc. Sections of the record may have surface noise, but it will not overpower the music. There may be some slight groove wear and very light scratches that affect the sound.
I do not sell records graded lower than "Very Good" unless they are rare. In these cases, I document the record condition to the best of my ability.
