From the archives of a noted Australian rock’n’roll and entertainment historian comes this SUPER RARE piece of Australian rock music history. A mid-1960s EP that never happened. This is a TEST PRESSING via EMI that never appeared. The idea was to unite hits from four Australian female singers - Little Pattie with Let Me Dream; Bev Harrell with What Am I Doing Here With You?; Lynne Fletcher and Losing You; and Cheryl Gray and Brand New Woman. All had charted to some degree in early 1967 with the exception of Gray whose release appeared the previous year when she was just 15 years of age. Cheryl Gray is notable for heading off to England a few years later and attracting the attention of Barry Gibb. A management contract with Robert Stigwood, a name change to Samantha Sang and the recording of the Gibb-penned Emotion delivered an enormous hit in 1978.
