Original UK test pressings, in plain sleeves,

a VERY rare item indeed.
This is a test pressing run for the entire Top Deck Ska box set 'Top Deck Ska' released on WEA in 2002.

All 45's have plain white unmarked labels and come in soft plastic inner sleeves with plain outer sleeves
on which the catalogue numbers and titles are written by hand.

The very rare part is: with the exception of disc three (green vinyl), these are all BLACK VINYL test pressings.
The official release featured various coloured vinyl throughout and did NOT appear in black vinyl versions.

There are probably only 4 or 5 of these sets in existence and were made for the label engineer and
a few execs to review the pressings. Naturaly they will also have the very best sound quality due to the stampers being absolutely fresh!
These releases were made from original masters so the sound is great anyway, even better being one of the first
handful off the presses. Can't really get better!

This copy comes direct from the man in charge of the actual release at WEA and is an unimpeachable source.

This will in all likeilihood be the ONLY COPY ever to appear on eBay.

Sellers are once again allowed to charge fair shipping - and that is what I do: Buyer pays what it costs to ship. No more, no less. Someone has to pay the Post Office!

However, insurance (and tracking) comes ONLY with premium shipping services which I can arrange if desired.
Remember that insurance is your choice however I do NOT refund for items sent by normal post that are either lost or damaged in the post, regardless of the value.

Return / Refund policy: Items must be returned to me within 30 days of auction end date. I refund only for errors in the listing and genuine complaints about the item. If you simply didn't like your item, that's tough, you chose to buy it. Please ensure you want the item before bidding. Do not return items without first contacting me!

Paying and corresponding:
I need to hear from buyers within 4 days of item ending (or before the bid if you will be away).
You should receive an invoice automatically through eBay - but if you have won more than one item, or the items are not all listed on your invoice, please let me know before paying. I will update your invoice.
Please ensure that all correspondence contains the item numbers and/or the email address associated with your eBay account. This helps us both to locate correspondence and deal with any future problems.

Feedback:
Positive+ feedback is always left after you let me know you're happy with your items. I do not consider a transaction to be complete until such time. The easiest way to let me know you're happy is to leave feedback for me.
Remember the feedback system is still voluntary. I will never chase buyers for feedback.
The 'Star' rating system: You must use this as you see fit but in practice anything less than a 5 in any category would mean that I have done something not to your liking. What they don't tell you is that sellers' search ratings are affected by this star system. Use it wisely. Remember that I will always work to improve my service based on direct customer feedback so if anything is not up to standard, please let me know.

Guarantee:
I guarantee every item I list to be as described. I will refund upon return of goods if not as described. If I goof, I'll pay! but the same goes for you... fair? I think so.

Problems and resolutions:
I want to make sure my buyers are happy so please come to me first with any problems. I'm here to help you, so you should only go through eBay or Paypal's complaints procedures if I fail to respond.
Please note that I am frequently away from my desk for many days at a time although I will usually be checking emails when possible.

Finally:
It's nice to know that eBay's more stupid decisions can sometimes be withdrawn, now if they can fix the feedback system...
