One of the finest audio experiments ever produced, "The Art Of Fuguing" is a dynamically recorded, double-LP set from the historic Town Hall label. Quite rare and incredible sounding, I promise you.
Two editions were produced, one capturing the acoustic and players with multiple microphones in use; the other simply using one stereo mic.
Point in all this, was to compare the two different mic presentations, to see which delivered the most natural sense of what really happened in the Hall, with such a wonderful orchestration by Malloch of Bach's THE ART OF THE FUGUE. And a book is provided that goes through it all, the recording, the experiment, the music.
An extra-special demo set, an early Sheffield, Lincoln Mayorga audio capture, that is a fine "audio club" presentation: Here in covers that are without fault, all 4 records should play near mint.
Simply extraordinary.

Shipping and handling is $5 for up to 5 LPs shipped within the States. Internationally, $15 via airmail for the first LP, $3 each thereafter. (Canada is half that.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
