This vinyl album by Tracy Chapman features 12 tracks of soulful acoustic folk rock and R&B. The record is housed in a cardboard sleeve and has a high-fidelity sound quality that captures the raw emotion of Chapman's lyrics. The original inner sleeve and cover are included with the LP, which was released in the United States in 1988 under the Elektra record label.
Chapman's self-titled album showcases her talents as a singer-songwriter and features instrumentation including acoustic guitar and recorder. The LP is in very good plus (VG+) or better condition. I could not find any flaws. The sound quality is excellent. This is a must-have for any fan of Chapman's music or those who appreciate powerful, introspective lyrics set to a backdrop of folk and rock music.
