Description

The Tracy Chapman self-titled vinyl LP record from 1988 is a highly sought-after first pressing on the Elektra/Asylum record label. This high-fidelity album features acoustic guitar music in English, housed in a cardboard sleeve with original inner and cover. With a 33 RPM speed and stereo audio channels, this vintage 12" record from the 1980s is a must-have for fans of pop, rock, and acoustic music.

From the seller: Tracy Chapman's iconic sound and contains some of her best music on this album. First pressing, graded VG for pictured scuffs on the record. I have played through the whole record. We run into some minor skipping on "Fast Car" and some warbles on "Across the Lines" that can be remedied by moving the needle. The record has a crisp sound but those playmarks lost it some points for smpoth experience. Still an excellent looker by an amazing artist, so it makes it into my shop. As usual I will breakdown flaws:

Viynl: VG, playmarks present that do not effect sound quality on both sides. Two mrks (one on side A and one on side B that threaten smooth experience) I only experienced skips in "Fast Car" and "Across the Lines" on side A. Side B seems to be unaffected.
Jacket: VG++ on the front. Some gentle wear on spine, barely noticable ringwear, corners are not perfect. Small blemish pocks on back cover (VG)
Inserts: All present. The insert is the record sleeve with Chapman's portrait on front, a tiny tear at the top, lyrics present on the back. Great color and in great shape. VG+ inserts.
