Description

ITEM FOR SALE

INTRODUCTION

I was going to list these items individually however I feel that as they are not in perhaps excellent (ex) or mint (m) condition I would sell all as one lot. My apologies to anyone who would have liked an individual record, however to sell as one lot is more practicable from my own point of view. I have had this particular group of records for nearly 20 years now and having obtained copies in better condition, I thought it time to let someone else enjoy these.

GENRE

Aphrodite’s Child, Traffic, Incredible String Band, Bob Dylan, Fairport Convention, Steeleye Span, Third Ear Band, Dr Strangely Strange, Principal Edwards Magic Theatre, Dave Cousins (ex Strawbs), String Driven Thing, The Zodiac. Fairly easy to generally group these as being ‘British Folk’ based, with some ‘progressive folk’ and/or ‘psych folk’ influences. I have enjoyed these and played them through many times on my old B&O turntable, some incredible music and most albums have a deal of rareity attached to them.

CONDITION

All of the records are in what most would describe as Very Good (vg) or thereabouts. This means they do have some scratching to the playing surface either as an individual scratch or a group of scratches. They all play through well some with a few clicks and pops more than others, and there are surface markings either light scratching or scuffing.

All in all a super collection however if you are looking for your records to be in Excellent or Mint condition then these are not for you. Now I have given you the basics I will grade each sleeve and record individually:

The new owner is welcome to arrange his/her own courier or collection method, including local pickup to be collected from Weymouth in Dorset.

SLEEVE/RECORD GRADING
I take great pride in accurately grading records, my feedback is testament to this accuracy, furthermore to give potential buyers a more detailed description of records, I grade both sides of sleeve and both sides of record. This gives a more accurate assessment of the overall condition of item. Sleeve is always graded first, any inserts are graded seperately. 45rpm singles are graded as a & b sides, sleeves are not graded but are deemed to be in a reasonable condition as seen from photograph. All photos are of the actual item you are purchasing.
