Description
Traffic - Mr Fantasy
Very rare 1st smooth label 'Pink-Island' Mono pressing
Cover: G/G+ (Creasing to the laminate, small 'L' shaped puncture to the top right which continues to the other side of the gatefold (see where the pen points), and other signs of wear and usage. Spine is slightly off centre but remains legible. There is an impression where someone has used the cover to lean paper against near the top right also. These are very delicate gatefold covers, so it is not uncommon to find them with storage wear and foxing around the edges like this one. However, it does remains useable and it is not the worst out there. The general aesthetic and imagery is still present, and the functionality is still sound - so this is still a presentable copy.
Vinyl: EX (Unlike the cover, the disc looks virtually unplayed. There is still the plastic residue in the spindle which might suggest this. The playing surface is bright and clean. A lovely deep lustre and gleam which, again, suggests little if any play. A really top copy. If I was to be pedantic I would note some very faint sleeve-removal marks under very bright light, but I must say, overall, that this is the best copy I have encountered. Label is clean with no spindle-marks that I can see. Nice!
