Traffic – Unreleased 1971 Live Traffic Album Cover / Standee

Ultra rare album cover/standee for the unreleased 1971 album "Live Traffic." United Artists Records (Traffic's US label) was planning to release a Traffic live album recorded at the Fillmore East on November 18 and 19, 1970 (featuring the band's new bassist, Blind Faith's Ric Grech.) Evidently United Artists greatly upset Steve Winwood and band manager Chris Blackwell by releasing a 2 LP Winwood career retrospective without their permission, and so this release was pulled at the last minute, amid rumors that the master tape had been "lost".

This is a fully fabricated album cover/standee for the album. There were never albums or test pressings of this release–only a very small number of this album cover/standee.

Please note: All of the items that I sell are from my own personal collection.

This is a large collection (that I have maintained and added to for well over 40 years),

that I am now divesting, due to mounting medical bills.

I, am not a store, or a business.

I am a private collector, selling off large parts of my personal collection.

Please Note: Despite a major surgery that I had a while ago, I am still dealing

with a lot of extreme complications and chronic disability.

As a result, this sometimes gets in the way of my e-baying.

So, if my turn around time takes a lot longer then most sellers,

(I have a 30 day shipping window) I really do apologize in advance.

I know it is a (potentially) long delivery window,

and you may want to consider this before bidding.

Also, I always ship items in proper shipping packaging, with padding

or packing peanuts or cardboard bracing as needed. I use whatever is

required in order to try and get it safely through the worldwide mail

systems. As a result, there is a small (cost) fee for the packaging materials

that I get from Box City, in order to safely ship the items.

Also, please understand this in advance, I use the e-bay calculator to

figure out postage. Sometimes, it is wrong, and presents a cost that is

higher then the actual cost at the post office. If and when this is the case,

I always refund the difference.

Please Note: Overseas Packages that go through the Customs system,

can take up to 4 to 6 weeks to Process and Deliver, This IS Normal.

For Russia and the Middle East, this can take even longer and is

completely out of my control, so please be patient.

Many Thanks.
