Traffic When The Eagle Flies LP UK Island 1st Press GREAT AUDIO [Ex/Ex-]

Description

An original 1st press of WTEF on the UK Island label from 1974. Matrix A1/B1. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original 1st issue textured cover. We also have the bespoke card inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In lovely condition and has only seen light careful use. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of very fine marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with minor deviation in one spot. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. A very fine rendition throughout - and some excellent audio. Not that much to take issue with really. All I detected were a few isolated crackles in 'Dream Gerrard'. Nothing invasive - it just won't play quite as darn clean as the rest of the LP. Overall an excellent player - highly recommended.
Cover (Ex-) Due to the absence of lamination and the largely white textured surfaces - this cover is going to be a tricky customer. Most copies are going to age - and show some surface wear. I'm glad to report that this example has been carefully cared for and is looking pretty spritely. Surfaces are unworn and relatively free of ageing - just a faint whiff of it at extremities. Faring much better than most copies that surfaces. Minimal edge wear and nice sharp openings. The spine is looking very nice indeed. All text fully legible and only very slightest wear. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.

Inner (Vg) Surfaces are really good. A couple of edge splits though - they have been taped up.
