Can we call this life? was the first Tragedy 7". Coming from Memphis, Tennessee, they self-released in their early days this three track ep adding another diamond in their legend: this was the follow up to their first lp (and was followed by Vengeance), it came out in 2002 and is long log out of print.
The Ending Fight covers side A, this is mid paced but steady and powerful with catchy riffs and nice leading guitar while bass bring some great lines, on the other side of vinyl Life is a fast outbreak of wrath and furry and in the end my favorite track The waiting destroys everything with its crushing power. The whole thing is very close to the first lp: sharp, melodic yet gray and gloomy, the manic rage of His Hero is Gone is here plus the dark melodies that have the roots in the Japanese scene and will characterize the band, will be developed and perfect in the next records and will affect hordes of crust bands.
