Description
Here's a nice rare item for Tron collectors. This is a radio special called Coming Attractions: Tron (The Ultimate Video/Radio Special). Released to radio stations by The Source, NBC's Young Adult Network, this was a promotional hour for the 1982 release of the Tron movie.
I listened to this, and it contains a lot of material about the popularity of video games, some clips from popular songs of the day (including way too many Buckner & Garcia songs), a lot of video game sound effects, a few interview clips with Tron filmmakers and actors, and some direct audio from the movie. It's not an exciting special but of definite interest to Tron super fans.
The vinyl grades as NM. The jacket is original and is a VG due to some creasing of the paste-up on the rear cover. The front cover is directly printed and looks good. This likely had a cue sheet inside when issued but this is missing.
