Description
Artist: The Music Machine Title: Turn on the Music Machine featuring Talk Talk Label/Number: Original Sound LPS- 8875 (S) Jacket condition: VG+ Record condition: VG+ Notes: The cover is in pretty nice condition with some light ring wear and some minor seam and corner wear. The original owner alson wrote his last name in ink on both the front and back cover. The labels are in nice shape with just a few light spindle marks. The Side 2 label has a few wrinkles which I believe are the result of two labels having been pasted on--one over the other. I have not tried to peel the extra label off and will leave that to the buyer to decide. The vinyl is bright and glossy but has a few light scratches that lead me to grade it down a bit to VG+. It plays great with almost no surface noise. As an added bonus the record is still contained in its original Original Sound inner sleeve. Grading: Grading is usually only visual unless there are obvious problems that need to be checked out. I did play this one as noted above. I use Goldmine standards with a VG++ added for items NOT QUITE up to NM but please read the notes above as I try to describe anything that might influence the grading one way or another. I try to be conservative and grade as though I were buying the record. Mono (M) or Stereo (S) is noted after catalog number. Don't hesitate to e-mail questions. Mailing and costs: Domestic shipping is via USPS, media mail with delivery confirmation. I ship in cardboard mailers made specifically for records with additional cardboard pads for increased protection. Shipping and handling charges are a flat $4.00 for the first LP and $1.00 for each additional LP. I'm always happy to combine shipments for multiple purchases. Overseas shipping on purchases under $50.00 may be sent by USPS First Class Mail International but I will upgrade at the buyer's request. Orders for more than $50.00 will need to be by Priority Mail International. This provides added protection for both the buyer and for me. The price will be the actual shipping costs plus $1.50 for the mailer and pads noted above.
I always mail in a poly sleeve with the record outside the jacket. If there's an original inner sleeve I also remove the record from that and put it in a plain sleeve for mailing. That way, there are no seam splits on either the jacket or the sleeve due to any handling in the mail.
