Description

In this auction are 2 Beatles Records that were originally issued on the Capitol Records orange and yellow swirl label in the 1960s and reissued on the BEATLES’ Apple Records label after the Beatles established the parent company, Apple Corps. These 2 records were pressed at Capitol’s Los Angeles plant, because they have the star printed on the label. If you’re looking for some to complete a set, you’ve found them here.

 

Here are the details about the records in this auction:

 

1.   “EIGHT DAYS A WEEK” b/w “I DON’T WANT TO SPOIL THE PARTY”: Apple Records 5371; Issued 1971; Los Angeles Pressing indicated by black star on the uncut apple label. “Mfd. by Apple” in rim printing. Condition: VG

 

2.   “AND I LOVE HER” b/w “IF I FELL”: Apple Records 5235; Issued 1971; Los Angeles Pressing indicated by black star on the uncut apple label. “Mfd. by Apple” in rim printing. Condition: VG   

 

Both records come with the correct stock Apple sleeves with “The Beatles on Apple” printed on them. The condition of the sleeves is generally VG.
