Description
You are buying a new/sealed October Rust by Type O Negative. Released by Run Out Groove (Warner) in 2021 and quickly sold out, the D2C (direct to consumer) Voodoo Edition was released as an alternative to the green and black version from years past, supposedly to celebrate the 25th anniversary. It was meant to simulate rust colors however the promo photo is not an exact match to the one you will receive. Some people posted a darker shade while most say it is closer to yellow (I don't think the plant used enough green in the mix) than orange, basically look at the cover font and it varies as such. There is a Revolver variant that adds clear vinyl and seems to be even brighter. Being a D2C model you had to order direct from the label unfortunately they do their usual bare-bones packaging. Even though they are owned by Warner, ROG does an amazing job pressing records and have made some of the best sounding versions in recent years IMO. Pressed at Record Industry in The Netherlands with a gatefold jacket and poster exclusive to this release. Item will be shipped in a record mailer with a plastic sleeve to help prevent seam splits and "fragile" stickers. Thanks for looking.
