Description
This vinyl record is a masterpiece by Tyrone Washington, titled Natural Essence. The music style is post bop with modal and free jazz elements, but also hints of blues, funk, and soul jazz in there too. The album features a killer line-up, with Woody Shaw, James Spaulding, Reggie Workman, Kenny Barron, and Joe Chambers. Tyrone was very young when he recorded this, and sadly went on to make few other albums, so this is among the only chances to experience his incredible talent.
The record is a 2004 reissue of the original Blue Note release in excellent (EX) condition. The sleeve is crisp and clean, with only slight shelf wear; the vinyl is clean and shiny and comes in a rice paper vinyl inner sleeve. Will be packed up tight for shipping.
