Here's a RARE copy of the only full length album by the band U-Men, 1988's "Step On A Bug / The Red Toad Speaks". Who were the U-Men, you ask? They are considered one of the first bands to come out of Seattle with the soon to be named "Grunge" sound, along with Ten Minute Warning, The Fartz and soon to follow Green River. This is an AWESOME album that you are unlikely to find anywhere, and it has, to my knowledge, yet to be reissued (though it is available in a boxed set of there complete catalogue). This is a 1st (and only?) pressing PROMO copy with promotional materials including an info / lyric insert, a band bio with photo, and a 12"X24" record store advert poster of the cover. The vinyl on this is clean, shiny, and looks unplayed, although we have played it for quality control and, wow, what a really great loud fun album. The cover has a promo hole in the front top right, some corner bumping and very minor edge wear, a legible spine, and NO splitting. The cover is super clean and glossy. This is so very rare, early Seattle grunge rock that just rocks. Get it if you want it, you are likely to see another with all the ORIGINAL PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS! We've been selling on eBay for awhile now, having stopped for a slew of surgeries and now retired from employment because of it. So, we're opening up a record store where it will be easier for me to stay active with my issues, and all proceeds from sales of our (mostly rare / scarce) vinyl goes towards making our store a reality (building records racks now, and our CD racks are full!). This will be by Media Mail, which is a bit slower but allows us to ship all US vinyl purchases FREE! We use official LP mailers with the record outside the cover, and in clean white sleeves separately from any photo inner sleeves. All vinyl is cleaned with an enzyme spray then finished with a SpinClean Machine. With sealed vinyl, please understand that we will only accept returns if the LP is still sealed, which is for our financial protection as well as yours.
