Description
I bought this record set in 1982 as an adorable blue-haired clerk in a record store. It was promptly boxed and taken out only to brag to my friends. So Cool! The set is in the original plastic display case with a cardboard insert that reads “U2 4 Play- Exclusive to Ireland”. It consists of four 45rpm records, in picture sleeves; two are black, one yellow and one orange (please see pictures). All have the smaller “album” sized hole, not the old huge 45-size adapter. Condition is good to very good. The cardboard header is yellowing on the back and has one slightly wrinkled edge, and there are some slightly yellowing edges on the white picture sleeves.
The records are as follows:
“Another Day” b-side “Twilight” CBS #8306 black vinyl, never played
“11 O’clock Tick-Tock” b-side “Touch” CBS#8687 black vinyl, never played
“Out of Control” b-side “Stories for Boys, Boy/Girl” CBS#7951 yellow vinyl, played once
“I Will Follow” b-side “ Boy/Girl” CBS#9065 on orange vinyl, never played.
This is a really unique set and it would make a great addition to any U2 fan’s collection! Happy Bidding! Please, no first time bidders.
