Description

U2: Another Day / Twilight

- very rare 1980 orange vinyl 7" single. 

Both sides in very good playing condition. 

Plain white sleeve. 

CBS release (CBS8306)

Released in Ireland in 1980, this single was not available in the UK.  As a then die-hard U2 fan I bought it in 1982 by ordering direct from either the distributors or record company (can't remember exactly which) in Ireland. It is because of this that it does not have the picture sleeve, and is in a plain white sleeve. 

Rarely used, but played a couple of days ago to check sound quality - which is very good.  Sadly this possibly cannot compensate for Bono's rather strange vocals on this early version of Twilight, but it is an interesting piece of rock history all the same....

N.B.  I want to add that by 'plain white sleeve', I mean an ordinary white sleeve - the usual type with the round label hole in the middle.  I just wanted to clarify the point that there is nothing special about the sleeve - only the record, which of course is very special!  Thanks.
