Description
U2 - Christmas Day
MEGA RARE SOUTH AFRICAN 8 TRACK ACETATE LP!!
This auction is for a GENUINE double sided LP acetate that features 8 tracks taken from a U2's four studio albums released between 1980 and 1984.
The track listing is:
Side One
- Gloria
- New Years Day
- I Fall Down
- Drowning Man
- Bad (short excerpt)
Side Two
- Stories For Boys
- Treasure (Whatever Happened To Pete The Chop)
- Seconds
Given the selection of tracks on the acetate I can only assume this was cut prior to Christmas 1984 by the RPM Record Company in South Africa for a possible release that did not then happen.
The disc comes complete with a letter (that can be seen in scan no.3) from the Marketing & Promotions Dept. at the RPM Record Co. (PTY.) Ltd.
This is a one off pressing and an extremely rare item!!!
Again, please be assured that this item is 100% authentic & Genuine. Collector's will know that I have been trading and dealing in rare records for the past 15 years now. Please feel free to also check out my feedback and bid with confidence. This disc was part of a collection purchased from a man who had worked in the music industry overseas for many years during the 1970's & 80's.
The record itself plays at 33RPM and is housed in a plain white sleeve. The disc shows some sign of age unfortunately and although it plays well on most tracks does jump occasionally and has a couple of marks on side A. As a result I'm grading it as being in only Good condition. Payment will be accepted by Paypal, cheque (within the UK) or direct bank credit. If you do decide to bid I wish you the very best of luck. Any questions, offers or further information required please let me know. I will ship anywhere.... SHIPPING COST (REGISTERED WITH TRACKING NUMBER):UK: £7.50
