Description

This is a rare, mint condition U2 "I Will Follow" promo 45. It was issued by Island Records in 1980. This white label promotional copy was sent to radio stations for airplay. This is a Canadian pressing, manufactured by WEA Music Of Canada, who were the distributors for Island Records at the time. The a-side is "I Will Follow" in stereo and the b-side is the same song but in mono.  The unique catalog number is YOU 2, which is very different from the commercial copy of this release. The single comes in a b&w picture sleeve (as shown in the photo). The single has had one owner, a former record company executive. It has been filed away since 1980.
