This record is in near mint condition. It has just a couple of really faint spindle marks visible on each label and there are no pen marks, scuffs or any other damage such as stains or fading. The centres are not loose or worn and overall the labels are clean, bright and in great shape.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides are really clean, have a vivid lustre and have next to nothing(I can see one small(2cm) line on edge of side 2) showing in normal light. There is the odd very faint sleeve mark or wispy line visible under bright light but these are of course nothing remotely serious and overall it is in really nice condition.
I play tested the record and it played really well and sounded great throughout. It lays flat, there is next to no movement in the record arm and the sound produced is excellent with no distortion caused by excessive use and of course no skips, sticks or annoying clicks. There was also barely any surface noise(even in the very mellow parts) or interference and most certainly nothing remotely severe. Overall it was a pleasure to play test and produced excellent audio of great quality from start to finish.
The gatefold sleeve is in excellent- condition. Overall it looks tidy all round but it does have a few issues. Firstly there is some wear and rubbing to the edges and corners. The writing along the spine is still all legible but there is wear at the top of the spine(see pics). The other area of wear on the edges is in the centre of the top edge on the rear half. This is not a full blown split but there is cracking and it is weakening in this area(again see pics). Other than the top of the spine and top edge as mentioned the other edges show only light wear. As for the rest of the sleeve there is little to report. There are no tears, scuffs or pen marks and next to no ring marks showing. There is the odd minor crease and indentation in places but nothing extreme and overall it looks great(but with the edge wear in parts as mentioned). Please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible.It includes its original plain black inner which is in excellent+ condition with no splits, tears or pen marks but some very light creasing.
It also includes its original poster/lyrics insert. This is also in excellent+ condition with only light signs of handling.
