Here you have the opportunity to own one seriously hard to get U2 item. I am a serious U2 fan and collector since 1980 and am selling off some of my collection. See my feedback for details on what I have sold earlier. I bought this 12" in Stockholm in the early 80's.
U2 Three was produced as a 12 inch with an initial run of 1,000  individually numbered copies. These had a white sticker that was hand numbered and it came in the orange CBS paper bag. There are also 1st pressing labels in un-numbered CBS bags, suggesting either more than 1000 were actually pressed and the excess copies were sold, or some of the original 1000 became separated from their original stickered bag.? The first pressing vinyl is to my knowledge exactly the same as the ones that where in the numbered bag. See more here for reference;   quote from irishrock.org/irodb/bands/u2.html ??
This record that I am now offering is the first pressing, but it is without the sticker on the cover.  BONO, ADAM, THE EDGE and LARRY are inscribed on both sides of the vinyl in the wax. The word BANG! is also inscribed. Furthermore CBS U23 B-1 is inscribed on the B side and on the A -Side you have U23 A-1 and the catalogue number CBS 7951 - 12 inscribed. 
Ireland spelled correctly on label, (this is misspelled on pressings that came after the first original pressing. "Made in England" on bottom."Out of Control" b/w "Stories for Boys"/"Boy/Girl". Catalog number is CBS 12-7951.  The record is in EXCELLENT CONDITION and has never been played. The orange paper bag cover is in VG+ condition. Only small ringwear from the vinyl and signage of wear on the rim.
This is a super rare record and if you search Ebay you will see that one copy there for 1200 GBP! My reserve is low compared to that. Please bid with confidence. Will only send with registred mail with tracking.
