"The Cork Connection"
1987 Sambooka Music This auction is for "The Cork Connection", a double-LP live recording of a 1987 U2 concert in Cork, Ireland. The show was the last of their Joshua Tree European Tour, and marked the date of The Edge's 27th. birthday.
There are two LPs - one blue vinyl, the other red, and both are in very good plus (VG+) condition, according to the Goldmine Maazine record grading standards. There is some slight surface noise when playing the discs, but it's only noticeable in the pauses between songs, and is likely due to the live nature of the recording. The cover is in very good (VG) condition. The seam at the top of the jacket is split where the glue has separated, but the picture on the cover is sharp with no other noticeable damage.
