Description

U2 – “The Joshua Tree” lp. Their fifth studio album, it’s their best seller and considered one of the greatest albums of all time. The band wanted a more hard-hitting, conventional sound than its previous album, while incorporating sociopolitical lyrics and their fascination with “mythical America”. Lead singer Bono almost panicked about the quality of this record before it came out, but it was highly critically acclaimed and won Grammy Awards for “Album of The Year” and “Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal”.
Vinyl = Very Good (VG) condition. I find only two very light scratches and a few fingerprints on it. Both sides play through very well, with occasional low static pops and no skips. Labels are clean.
Cover = Very Good (VG) condition. It has a little scuffing, some small light handling creases, and a few light scratches. There is some edge and corner wear, including on the title edge. Ring wear is starting to show on the back. Seams are good. No writing or stickers or sticker residue on this cover.
Inner sleeve = Good (G) condition. Original plain black paper inner sleeve. It has some light wrinkling from handling and a little dirt. The side seams are good, but the bottom seam is starting to split. No writing or stickers or sticker residue on it.
INCLUDES: two-page picture / lyrics / credits insert in Very Good (VG) condition.
Label = Island Records                  Record #90581-1
Song List: Side One 1. Where The Streets Have No Name 2. I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For 3. With Or Without You 4. Bullet The Blue Sky 5. Running To Stand Still
