Digitally remastered edition of the Irish band's 1984 breakthrough album, released to coincide with the 25th Anniversary of it's original release. This new edition was remastered by band's guitarist, the Edge, and contains either a 16 or 24 page booklet. Features the hits 'Pride (In the Name of Love)', 'Bad' and the title track.
The album peaked at No. 1 on both the UK and Australian album charts. In the US, it peaked at No. 12 on the album charts and No. 39 on the Top Pop Catalog Albums chart. The album was certified multi-platinum by the RIAA with 3 million units sold.
With a title inspired by an exhibition of paintings by Hiroshima and Nagasaki survivors, THE UNFORGETTABLE FIRE confirmed U2 as one of a handful of bands able to tackle such vast and emotive subjects with dignity and musical integrity.
