Description

An original 1st press of FIRE for the UK market in 1984. Matrix A4/B8. The vinyl comes housed in an original textured cover. We also have the original bespoke inner too. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In super condition having seen only light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of slight marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome though [fully tested]. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with one deviation. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. This record is VERY fussy with lots of very lowkey passages - not many copies will deliver it fully clean. All I could detect was the odd low level crackle here and there in '4th July'. And even this super fussy instrumental track plays much better than you typically find.  A few brief crackles as 'Bad 'starts up. Nothing upfront and it clears out pretty quick. Highly recommended.
Cover (Ex) In lovely condition with clean, and importantly, untarnished surfaces. Don't get caught out on this title - they were hellishly difficult to keep in decent condition. Sometimes you get low-level hidden foxing, colour fade, or surface wear. Minimal edge wear and sharp firm openings. Spine 90%+ intact - slight handling. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex-) Not affected by ageing or foxing. One 1 inch bottom edge spit. Internally taped up - minor cosmetic issue.
