Description
Here we have an Irish First Pressing of U2 Three from 1979.
It is an original pressing with UKTM on the rim of the label, Grafotone credit on back of the Picture Sleeve and a thumb cut on the back of the sleeve but not on the front with a side opening. This is a fully legit first issue of U2's first release and a very good example.
Record Grades at least VG+ if not excellent, I would be happy if I bought this as an EX copy. Plays superbly, only a few very light marks to be seen under a light, nice bright sheen. Tough to find a better copy as most copies of this would have received a lot of play, not this one.
Sleeve has moderate wear due to age, Grades VG- , still looks the part, some discolouration and repair to the sleeve via the inside with sellotape not visible on the outside. Due to the delicate paper with which these early sleeves were made with they were very prone to wear so this is not a bad example.
Definitely a very nice copy of a highly collectible U2 record, which is better than most copies. Tough to find a better copy of this 38 year old record. Sold as described, you will receive a record in the state that I am describing it to you, I am certain that you will be happy with what you receive.
