U2 – Three / Out of Control 12" in CBS Sleeve GENUINE 2nd Pressing!

A1: Out of Control (single version, diff to that on ‘Boy’)
B1: Stories for Boys (single version, diff to that on ‘Boy’)
B2: Boy / Girl
Their first single. Played once only since I got it to check quality – is excellent as is the sleeve, which is highly unusual among those I’ve seen recently! To look at it could be 3 years old, rather than 26.
Sleeve is the original sunburst CBS, AND the band’s names are etched into the vinyl at the run-out groove on both sides of the record – which according to u2wanderer.org makes it the second pressing. Note, that the first was in a limited edition of one thousand, for which you might pay anything up to £1,500 for a battered copy… The second is pretty rare too as a third, with the band’s names etched on only one side of the record, followed soon after. By the fourth in 1981 it came in a black sleeve rather than the sunburst.
A GREAT COLLECTORS ITEM and the best quality pressing you’ll find outside of the original first 1000!!
