Rare, as NEW and Unplayed

U2 War (Scarce original 1983 UK limited edition 10-track vinyl PICTURE DISC LP including Sunday Bloody Sunday and New Years Day - the only official U2 picture disc album!)

This is the original 1983 release which i have owned from new. Complete with clear plastic sleeve

Original UK Pressing- Catalogue No.PILPS 9733

War was U2's third studio album, and is considered by many to be the first "classic" of U2's career. It was definitely this album which raised U2's profile around the world, expecially in North America where the band had only limited success prior to this. The album cover is reminiscent of that used for the Boy album, and Peter Rowan again is featured. Design of the album cover was by Steve Averill.
