"I Will Follow" was U2's fifth single release and the second from their debut album "Boy". It was initially issued to Europe in October of 1980 and then became the first U2 single released outside of the continent when North America and Australasia received versions in March of 1981. These later releases featured different artwork than the European single. The North American version featured an alternate live B-Side track, recorded in the United States shortly before the release date of the single.
