"One Tree Hill" was the final single released from "The Joshua Tree" album. It was an exclusive release for Australia and New Zealand, issued a few months after the U.S. and Canada received their own unique single of "In God's Country". Both the "One Tree Hill" and "In God's Country" singles featured identical cover art and B-side tracks. Neither were issued as CD singles. The earlier releases of the "One Tree Hill" 7" vinyl included a picture lyric sheet.

This Australian 7" vinyl release comes with the picture lyric sheet.
