Description
UBER RARE:
Marc And The Mambas 'Untitled' Album in a ***SINGLE*** album pressing (1 x 12" sleeve). The standard release was always as a double/gatefold release.
Thus making this edition utterly unique--I have never seen another edition of this album in a single sleeve.
Furthermore, this album sleeve is from the Some Bizarre personal library and was given to me in the mid-1980s. Please note the auction includes the SLEEVE only (there was no record with this pressing) and for this rare 'single' sleeve only.
I'm not sure if this rare edition was a mistake, or a 'mis-pressing'. However, upon further inspection, and close comparison with the standard double gatefold issue I've noticed the following differences which indicate this was an intentional pressing:
- The 'BZS 13 BZM 13 ['Some Bizzare' Logo] from the back, top right, of the standard double gatefold pressed sleeve has been included in this single pressed sleeve. See photos showing this detail/difference.
- The spine of the standard double gatefold pressed sleeve has red oblong box at the foot of the spine. However on the single pressed sleeve this is a smaller plum coloured box. See photos showing this detail/difference.
