For sale is a gently used copy of the 2002 UGLY CASANOVA record.  This is the special Double-LP that has the Thomas Campbell ** etching on Side B of the second record.  Some copies fetch $200.  I've started my auction at a low price, bid high and bid often. 

CONDITION:
I purchased this record NEW in 2002, played once on the turntable to record to a cassette tape, and then put back on the shelf for 11 years.  I didn't like it much, and quickly lost the casette tape and forgot about the record.  So, consider this MINT, but opened.  I looked around for the shrink wrap because I recall saving it - but cannot find it.  At the worst, there may be a stray cat hair or two on the records -- but they are assumedly perfect condition otherwise.  Let's be honest though: this record is being purchased for that unplayable and beautiful Thomas Campbell etching and I'm sure you have a digital copy of the album already saved so it probably wont be listened to more than a handful of times anyhow.  Rest assured - it is of impeccable collectors quality.  (For those that care about ultra-details, I was a smoker through college so the record *was* in a smoke-filled home for a few years but has recently aired out in the last 6 years since quitting.)

I realize this is a hot one, so I will make my best effort to pack it as securely as possible, using thick Foam Core and heavy duty cardboard.  Shipping available to the whole world - you just need to pay for it.  Assume about $10 within the US, and possibly $20-25 for the rest of the world.  Buyer to pay actual shipping charges.

DETAILS:
"Sharpen Your Teeth" is an album by the indie rock band Ugly Casanova. Brainchild of Modest Mouse lead singer Isaac Brock, Ugly Casanova was his attempt to try new methods and genres outside the realms of Modest Mouse. The album sees Brock performing on more instruments and using a more stripped down method of recording. The story given is that an eccentric character named Edgar Graham met with Modest Mouse while on tour. During their time together, Graham and the band recorded a few songs together, and Graham completely disappeared. In an attempt to get Graham to resurface, Brock took the recordings to Sub Pop Records, redid them in the studio, and had them released as Sharpen Your Teeth . A follow-up is highly unlikely due to contractual obligations Brock has with Modest Mouse's label Epic Records. It has since been revealed that Brock fabricated the story himself, using Ugly Casanova as a method of writing music whilst not being recognized instantly as Modest Mouse.

** Thomas Campbell is most famously known for his delightful paintings, sculptures and installations.  His work can be seen around the world, most notably in the "BEAUTIFUL LOSERS" show that travelled around a bit.  He's part of the "Mission School" of artists, and is a dedicated surfer.
