Description

UK Decca stereo LP SXL 2068, "Great Scenes from Wagner" with George London; Hans Knappertsbusch conducts the Vienna Philharmonic. Legendary sound and interpretation.

UK grooved wide band ED1 pressing.  Blue Back floppy sleeve with flip-backs
Play-graded with a Goldring 1042 cartridge--Music Hall MMF-5 TT.  The disc plays with patches of soft surface noise on side one, so VG+; side two is better, about NM.  Wotan's Farewell on side 2 plays almost perfectly, with tremendous impact.  The disc looks great, so pro cleaning should help. Excellent sound.  Jacket is solid, but has light general wear, and clarifoil bubbling, so VG/VG+.

On Oct-13-10 at 10:15:23 PDT, seller added the following information:

Just looked at my picture of the reverse of the jacket, and noticed that a corner of one flipback is torn off!  Hadn't even seen this in person.  This downgrades the jacket condition to VG.
