Description
I am offering for sale a very nice copy of Kevin Ayers - Bananamour on UK EMI Harvest SHVL -807. This is a second pressing and the pressing is A-3 and B-3, still an early pressing. The label top rim text begins with "EMI Records Ltd." and the bottom right rim states "Made in Gt. Britain." All copies have the boxed EMI logo. This record is part of a collection belonging to a close friend I lost two years ago. I am helping his widow with selling the collection. My friend took fanatical care of his records. Most of his records are near mint. I already sold some of his Pete Brown and Edgar Broughton alboms already.
The record was play-checked on a Rega Planar 3 with a Goldring 1042 cartridge and played near mint. Visually, I call it M-. There may be a stray mark, but no spindle wear on the label. The cover has some wear on the bottom seam and minor wear on the top seam. There are no splits. The right edge of the cover is a little wavy, which is typical of many UK gatefolds. The cover is textured.
