Description
On offer here is a MEGA RARE!!! 1964 UK original LP by THE YARDBIRDS titled “FIVE LIVE YARDBIRDS” on COLUMBIA RECORDS No. 33SX 1677.
This is a first pressing with matrix Nos. XAX -1N & XAX -2726 1N.
Yardbirds at this time featured Keith Relf, Paul Samwell-Smith, Chris Dreja, Jim McCarty and of course Eric Clapton.
This album was record live at The Marquee club and features amongst the tracks, “Smokestack Lighting”, “Goodmorning Little Schoolgirl” & “Pretty Girl”
Vinyl other than the odd non-sounding surface marks is in EX++ condition and plays brilliant, even quiet between tracks.
Flipback cover I’m downgrading to EX- due to handling marks on back (see scan), front of cover is great though.
Overall a really nice collector item.
