Description
Brilliant playing, wonderful sound. No further praise needed from me for this three record set, here offered in like new, essentially perfect NM condition. The Juilliard Quartet plays the six Mozart "Haydn" Quartets on three discs, UK Columbia SAX 2470-72 on Blue Silver stereo labels.
This was carefully and thoroughly auditioned with a Goldring 1042 cartridge, and Sennheiser 600 headphones/Epos ES-25 speakers.
I hesitate to use superlatives, but here they're deserved--this set's in astonishing condition, a true velvety NM. The three thick, shiny records look perfect--and sound like it, with silent surfaces and brilliant sound. You won't find a better copy anywhere.
The black box is clean, bright & intact with no real wear aside from a couple of tiny, trivial paper separations on the back, thus it's a NM/NM-. The crisp leaflet is NM.
I've added Nitty Gritty inner sleeves to the originals, and slipped the box into a new Japanese mylar resealable outer sleeve.
