SPIROGYRA - St Radiguns (Brain / Metronome 1005, Germany 1971)
The 1st album from this excellent UK prog folk (rock) collective around female vocalist Barbara Gaskin, bass player Steve Borrill, Martin Cockerham on guitars and Julian Cusack on violin and keyboards........FAIRPORT drummer Dave Mattacks as guest musician completes this album - here as German original pressing on the "green Brain / Metronome" label -, comes in non laminated gatefold cover.........

The record in excellent minus (ex-) condition, showing several fine (harmless) hairlines / paper scuffs - here and there some surface cracklings on the background, but NOT in a loud or disturbing way...........think it comes primarly from the pressing, my 2nd (own) copy looks nearly perfect and also here and there some cracklings are audible ???.....
The gatefold cover is in very good plus (vg+) condition, a sensitive unlaminated thing.....  - showing tiny wear on seams and spine, some crinkles......has a cutout hole on the top right side (see scan), but NO serious defects........

Also you´re bidding on vinyl records and NOT for CDs......that means, that also new vinyl records can make static or tiny surface cracklings here and there. Also some of the old recordings, especially the obscure privat pressings have NOT a HiFi demonstration recording sound....
