BLACK WIDOW - Sacrifice ( CBS 63948 ), UK 1970
The 1st album from this excellent UK prog band - here as UK original copy - released on the "old CBS" label in gatefold cover and with A1/B1 matrix ending. Musically an excellent prog rock album from this sextet (they released one year before, with a girl singer, an also excellent album under the name Pesky Gee) with inventive compositions, excellent guitar / organ work, interesting flute and sax interventions........
The gatefold cover is in top excellent to excellent plus (ex/ex+) condition
The record is also in top excellent minus to excellent (ex-/ex) condition, looks relatively clean (ex+) - only a few very fine hairlines or paper scuffs are visble - in some places tiny surface cracklings or surface ticks are hearable - I think maybe through the pressing

Imortant: Please don´t bid on "G" or "VG" records, and then you are disappointed if you don´t become a MINT copy - unfortunately this is not possible. Also you are bidding on vinyl records - and NOT CDs - that means, that also new records made some surface cracklings here and there and some of the old (especially privat pressings) are NOT hifi demonstration records !!!
