Description
BLOSSOM TOES - We Are Ever So Clean (Marmelade 608 001 stereo, UK 1967)
Here we have the 1st album from this legendary UK popsike / psych rock quartet as UK original 1st pressing on the "Marmelade" label, produced from Giorgio Gomelsky. A classic from the UK 1967 psych scene and very hard to find nowdays as UK original. The laminated cover is from the mono copy with the 607 001 number - the record is the stereo edition with the 608 001 number (was NOT so unusual in this times to release records in this form)
Matrix number: 608 001 A 1 / 608 001 B 1
The laminated mono cover (with the 607001 number - made and distributed by Polydor Records Ltd.) is in top excellent (ex) condition, shows only tiny signs of age - the only imperfection are some fine "needle peels" (so between 10-15) on the middle of the backcover (don´t know what fool make this), but they are NOT sooo hardly noticable - the are on the white background
The stereo record is not so easy to grading - showing some paper scuffs / fine hairlines only. The last track on side 1 "People Of The Royal Parks" (A7) showing a "fine scratched" field of so 2 X 1 cm - astonishingly it plays also fine with some mediocre loud "clicks / pops" for some revolutions (7-8 times). So I would say tracks A1-6 and B1-7 looks and plays excellent (ex) with only some fine surface cracklings in the background here and there - track A7 play good (g) with the severals clicks described above.
