GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Copertine e vinili sono visualmente gradati dopo un’attenta osservazione sotto la luce del sole fatta sulla mia terrazza a tetto. Nelle giornate grigie vengono controllati sotto una forte lampada alogena con l’aiuto di una lente d’ingrandimento. Tutti i i 33 giri in asta sono stati interamente ascoltati su un giradischi Rega Planar 3 fornito di una testina a magnete mobile Grado Statement 1. Per EP e singoli a 45 giri utilizzo un Thorens TD 166 BC con testina, sempre MM, Goldring 1006. Ritenendo che le abituali classificazioni quali Mint, Ex, Vg, ecc., ecc… siano poco significative per spiegare le reali condizioni dei dischi ed anche estremamente soggettive, precedo sempre tali classificazioni con una breve descrizione degli eventuali difetti che ho riscontrato, ad eccezione di Mint- che il più alto grado che conferisco a qualsiasi disco. Soltanto per le copie ancora sigillate all’origine utilizzo MINT/MINT.

Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All LPs in auction have been fully heard on a Rega Planar 3 turntable with a Grado Statement 1 moving magnet cartridge. I listen EPs and singles 45 rpm. on a Thorens TD 166 BC turntable with a Goldring 1006 MM cartridge. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc… are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.

Note : la stessa canzone, composta da Umiliani con liriche di Dino Verde, in due differenti versioni ma entrambe con un iniziale sviluppo lento che si evolve presto in vivace ritmicità. Una ballata western cantata in Italiano. Il gruppo romano Angel and The Brains riesce ad inserire qualche accenno di sonorità Beat mentre Gloria Paul dà un elegante tocco d'internazionalità alla canzone con quel suo simpatico italiano dall'accento londinese.

Notes : the same song composed by Umiliani with lyrics by Dino Verde in two different versions but both with an initial slow development evolving quickly in lively rhythm. A western ballad sung in Italian. The Roman band Angel and The Brains inserts some hints of Beat sound while Gloria Paul adds an elegant touch of internationality to the song with her likable Italian from the London accent.

Una divertente parodia dei film western di produzione Italiana. Regia di Giorgio Simonelli assistito da Giuliano Carnimeo. Con Franco Franchi, Ciccio Ingrassia, Gloria Paul, George Hilton e Orchidea de Santis.
