Description

This week I'm offering a nice selection of 45s and 78s. Always happy to combine shipping on like items. Sound clips are taken from the record for sale and are not cleaned up or enhanced.

Rise When The Rooster Crows / Way Down The Old Plank Road ~ Uncle Dave Macon with Sam McGee VOCALION 15321, circa 1926. Great hillbilly two sider with surface noise, moreso in the beginning, as is common. Plays with more surface noise than it would appear. I would have graded this record V+ visually, but due to surface noise will downgrade it to a V. Some pencil writing on B side of label.



Sound clips are made from the record for sale, played on a caliphone 1925 plugged into my ion turntable, plugged into the computer. No fancy stylus so the sound may not be optimal but it gives a good representation. Audio files are not enhanced or cleaned up in any way. All records are carefully and thoroughly cleaned with a nitty gritty machine prior to recording. All records are play graded.
